                                          INSTALLATION OF ECC 6.0

 For the installation of the ECC 6.0 below media files are required

  • DB setup files , DB client 
  • Kernel
  • Swpm 
  • Exports
  • Java
Steps for installation
  • Make the server ready Windows/linux/HP-Unix
  • create a user with admin rights 
  • create a partition as per the requirement 
  • Install java and set the enviormental variales "JAVA_HOME = Path of java /bin folder "
  • Create a Swap size always swap size must be 3 times the physical RAM 
  • Install the DB 
  • Start SWPM select " CUSTOM"option 
  • Procced by giving the inputs 
  • Once the setup is complete kindly check all the services of the SAP and Database services 
  • kindy make sure that sap,database services start automatically

NOTE: recommed to not use "@" character for the oracle db passwords
